Personal Narrative Writing Project
Directions:
This unit, you will write a personal narrative. A personal narrative is a nonfiction memoir (a story that you remember and tell about your own life). You may choose to write about a specific event in your life, or about several events that are related somehow. If you write about a specific memory, use “I Am Malala” as your example. If you write about several related events, use “Indian Education” as an example.

- Must be at least two FULL pages hand-written (the FULL front and back of a piece of paper without skipping lines) or one FULL page typed (single-spaced)
Final Draft Expectations:
- Must be at least one FULL page typed (single-spaced)
- Heading must contain the student’s name and block, the date, and a title for the personal narrative
- Font must be Times New Roman, Arial, Calibri, or Cambria, size 11 or 12, BLACK
- Due Thursday, December 19th
